Entry 1

Response to " Norris and Soloway. “Web 2.0 to Social 3.0: The Next BigThing.” TheJournal. Online.

As we can see, Social 3.0 is more powerful than Web 2.0. Actually in my eyes, it is the result of the development of Web 2.0. But they are different in the application. Web 2.0 applies to the whole web while Social 3.0 applies more to apps running on mobile devices, is it right? We cannot deny that social 3.0 can be useful in some ways; however, it can also be in a mess if we do not use it well. In the article, the author says that Social 3.0 is like a car. “In app-sharing, everyone is a driver.” But what if the drivers run into each other? We cannot ensure that there won’t be any accidents. That is to say, when different people work synchronously, they may work on the same content, which sometimes is unnecessary and thus inefficient. Since different people have different opinions, they may have conflicts.
